From Kingston:
Find the A240 direction Epsom, go past the Tollworth roundabout, crossing over the A3, continue straight ahead via the dual carriage way past a Jet filling station. The next left turn at a set of traffic lights is Stoneleigh Park Road.
From Sutton, or Epsom:
Find your way onto the A240 towards Kingston. You will pass a roundabout with a signpost into Stoneleigh Broadway and Station to the right. Ignore this and go straight on underneath the railway bridge and take the right turn at the traffic lights immediately after the bridge. This is Stoneleigh Park Road

Ken Peacock - The Alexander Technique Teacher
Qualification: Teacher of the Alexander Technique, Member of the Society of Alexander Teachers.
Ken Peacock started having Alexander Technique lessons in 1981. He graduated in 1986 as an Alexander Technique teacher at the Alexander Teaching Associates (ATA) and became a member of S.T.A.T. (Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique).
As well as a busy private practice Ken has conducted many introductory courses and workshops over the years. He has also taught regularly on Alexander teacher training courses.

Anna Maria Peacock is a qualified Osteopath, registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), Cranial Osteopath, and Nutritional Therapist. She was originally trained as a nurse in Germany. Her nursing career involved work on the orthopaedic ward, in the A & E Department, in the Intensive Care Unit and for the later part in the Anaesthesia Department.
Simultaneously she took up Yoga at the Scandinavian School for Yoga and Meditation in Sweden and trained as a Remedial Yoga Teacher at the Yoga for Health Foundation in Ickwell Bury, Bedfordshire.
She then studied Osteopathy at the College of Osteopath in London. This training included Cranial Osteopathy and naturopathic principles. She took part in postgraduate studies in Cranial Osteopathy while still an undergraduate student. This enabled her to write her thesis that was based in the cranial field during the last year of her osteopathic study.
Since her graduation in 1998 she became registered with the then newly established General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), worked for two years at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Harley Street, London, and did further postgraduate study at the Sutherland Cranial College.
In 2006 she joined the LCTA to study Nutritional Therapy in conjunction with the University of East London; and in 2007 she gained the Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition for Healthcare Practitioners. Additionally, in 2010 she successfully attended a Dry Needling / Medical Acupuncture course.
Fascinated by the diagnostic methods used in acupuncture and the positive experience of having had a very successful acupuncture treatment for a bout of shingles led to her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She then embarked on the study of acupuncture and qualified in November 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Chinese Medicine at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading. This is a longstanding College that was created in 1993 and is nowadays one of the largest providers of acupuncture training in the UK.
Following this she completed a 2 year postgraduate diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture in 2017, which was run at CICM and headed by the foremost authority in Paediatric Acupuncture, Dr. Julian Scott.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a very old healing system, developed over more than 2000 years ago. The first consultation is very similar to the Osteopathic one, except that your pulse will be taken and your tongue will be examined. There will be some extra questions regarding sleeping patterns and emotional state.
For the treatment ultra-fine needles are inserted. This often feels like a tingling, a dull ache or a warm sensation. The needles are single-use, sterile and disposable. If there are side effects they will be mild, like slight dizziness or bruising around needle points that usually disappears quickly.
The initial treatment is usually a course of 5 to 6 sessions. The frequency depends on your individual condition. In the beginning weekly treatments are ideal. This will be spaced out as the symptoms improve.
A whole variety of conditions can be treated with acupuncture. It is suitable for most of us.
